About Me
Ever since I was little, I gravitated towards helping others. People would always come to me to vent or ask for advice. This only reinforced my belief that I was meant to be a therapist, and help others on their wellness journey.
I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in psychology and media/journalism studies. A few days after graduation, I started my master's program at Monmouth University. I graduated with my Master's in Mental Health Counseling, specializing in play therapy. Flash forward, and here I am!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and Connecticut. I also am a registered play therapist, and use play therapy in my work with children and adolescents.

My diverse work experience has given me a lot of knowledge, that one cannot learn through a textbook. My work experience includes working in partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, school-based counseling, and outpatient settings.

I've practiced yoga since college, and personally saw the health benefits (physically and mentally). In 2012, I started my yoga teacher training at Yoga Nine. Since becoming a registered yoga teacher, I have incorporated yoga in hospital settings, and psychodeucational groups.

Alternative treatments to mental health has always been of interest to me. In 2014, I was introduced to the Healing Touch Program. I've completed levels 1-4, and am a healing touch apprentice.

I'm lucky that my hobbies and interests have become my career. I hope my passion shows in my work with you!
